ok, so I didn’t fall off the face of the earth, I’m still here but so busy fulfilling xmas orders and I’ve been sicky with a cold and sick kids at home - ack! I got a bit behind and will try my best to make up for the lack of blog activity…
I’ve worked with so many great families for holiday portraits the last couple of weeks, I can’t wait to share them all!
For now, I’ll share a session I had a few weeks ago… love this family! They live in this beautiful, *gorgeous* house so tastefully decorated and the boys are so well behaved and so much fun to photograph! I love it when I have the chance to see my clients many times in the year… we get to know each other better and that’s the case with this family - the boys are so used to my camera and myself they just want to play and have fun (and not run and hide - ha!)
This session was all about getting the perfect “Christmas card picture” - and we got tons of great ones, I’ll share a few of my favorites… mom did a fantastic job picking the outfit!!!!!

Aren’t they adorable? Love these boys! and love that grandpa and grandma were there too for the holiday portraits! and did I mention their gorgeous house?
thanks T & family for a fantastic morning! I had lots of fun!

and who wouldn’t just looking at these girls?

I heart them so much. They are so gorgeous and energetic and FUN! You may remember them from my “fall” post last year… in fact, you may recognize these little beautiful faces and *stunning* eyes as they are all over my website portfolio… I’ve been photographing them for quite a few times now and they are always sooo much fun!

although I must add that little Miss M gave me a run for my money LOL She was so into playing and having fun and totally avoiding my camera!! but oh all the effort was so much worth it!

Miss AC is such a great big sister….

I met their mom at Buntzen Lake in August last year while touring with a friend visiting from California… we exchanged phone numbers and next thing I know we became very good friends and I was doing their fall family pictures last year.
What a gorgeous, amazing family…

Mom and I have a few things in common… besides obviously having beautiful kids (ok, I am biased on that one!) and being completely crazy about them,
we both love Biochemistry and we both went to a Biochemistry PhD Program. Such a coincidence.
Isn’t she gorgeous?

Speaking of PhD, today is dad’s PhD defense. Best of luck to you F, although I know you don’t need it - you’ll do just great with your great work and competence.

He truly is the most amazing dad, both girls are sooo daddy’s girls….
and just because I adore their eyes and can’t help close-ups… ![]()

and some splash of color, my signature ![]()

Thank you guys for such a fun afternoon at the Old Orchard!!

A few weeks ago I got to play errr… work again with Sophia! What a treat! Her parents and I took her to VanDusen Garden in Vancouver for their family fall portraits.
I brought some of my favorite props with me but only for dad to drag them around… LOL Sophia was way too busy to stay inside my baskets LOL
Well, you know… a typical toddler she is! And a gorgeous one…
I love the outfits that mom picked! Although I must add there would never be a so so outfit for this beautiful girl… she’s simply stunning!

We tried hard making her keep all the beautiful little hats on, but she just didn’t want anything to do with them… so I had to be quick!

just look at those eyes… I swear she’s got the most beautiful eyes!

isn’t she a doll?????
so you must be wondering where she’s got her good looks from.. well just look at her parents!

and a vintage-y one of Sophia…

thank you guys so much for a fun filled afternoon… chasing Sophia around while working at my “office”
I LOVE my job!!!!
