How quickly a year can pass… baby E recently turned one and I had the honour to document all his major milestones — newborn, 3 months, 6 months, 9 months and one year old. What a treat! He is too sweet for words and so are his older brothers, so cute, with super sweet parents! These brothers are sooo well behaved (fantastic job, parents!) my sessions with them are always fun and stress free.
So for our 1 year old session I suggested to mom to give it a photo-journalistic approach, following the boys (and family) in and around the house and letting them do their thing while I clicked away — storytelling photography. I am very pleased with the end result, I just love the feel of these pictures!
The older boys absolutely adore their baby brother. I feel so blessed to watch them grow up right before my very lens… and even more for capturing this brotherly love for the family memory books. I’m the luckiest gal in the world!
oh and also capturing a father’s love…
Dad was telling me that unlike his older brothers, baby E is very attached to him. So true, very easy to see!
Mom did a terrific job at decorating the house (I love all her color choices for the walls, etc) which made my job of finding the right background so much more exciting!
I love seeing my art up on their walls, it makes me so happy!
and the image below is one of my favorites… the light, the love, the sweet moment captured…

Then we headed outside for the boys to play… they were practicing for the baseball game they would have right after our session.

It is impossible to take a bad photo of them hence I’m posting a bunch here ![]()

Dad is right.. middle one definitely has the James Dean look going on…
Not so long ago, baby E was still in mummy’s tummy and we were at this beautiful cove at Lighthouse Park for mom’s maternity session. And now, a happy little one year old who is beyond cute.

As you can easily see, I had a wonderful morning with this amazing family.
Thank you R family for allowing me to document these milestones in your beautiful family over the year. I can’t wait to start working on the coffee table book, a visual narrative of a fantastic year!
