StoryBoards & Collages | Vancouver BC Baby Photographer

StoryBoards and Collages… I love designing them! They are such a unique and fun way to display my clients’ favorite images… and they love them too! I recently sent a few gorgeous ones to the lab and thought I’d share here too, while mom (and me!) ever so patiently wait to get the finished product (it always feels like christmas here when the UPS guy comes byand it’s always soooo sad when I have to part with the goodies… but that’s OK though, I know parents will be thrilled to display them so I’m happy too

This one is a desk StoryBoard, to be displayed on an easel (or perhaps just resting on a mantel or shelf?) I just {puffy heart} love these two images together!! Gorgeous, gorgeous family!

I always present my clients with a few collage ideas with my favorite images from our session, and then we go from there. It’s definitely a collaborative process and our goal (mine and my client’s) is to design just the perfect art display for their home.

Their story, through my lens, beautifully displayed as art.

Wording for this one was all mom’s idea, and it’ s actually a series of three StoryBoards, one from each of our sessions together (Baby’s first year plan). I presented mom with a few display ideas and she went with this layout (two panoramics + one square):

First one is a panoramic Collage with images from our newborn session. The one on the right will display images from our 1 year old session (can’t wait!! — LOVE watching them grow!)

and yes, I do spoil my lovely clients with a professionally-designed Wall Art Display & Inspiration Guide, which tremendously helps them visualize photo galleries and displays in their homes.
