I’ve been photographing her forever… when she was still in mommy’s tummy, as a newborn, her first year and then every 6 months since then. All her milestones… including baptism, birthday parties… She became quite “the face” of Belle Meinerz Photography. I am so grateful to her parents who trusted me with their memories. It’s such an honour.
She’s a few weeks shy of 3 years old, and to celebrate the fact that she’s a big girl now (!) we headed down to Stanly Park to do her portraits. I can honestly say: she becomes cutter by the day. Check for yourself.
I think she looks just like Snow White in the next one…
such a cute little happy face!
Below she was showing off to passers-by some mad yoga and jumping skilzzzz, she has the talent to entertain, ya know? all of a sudden there was a little crowd gathered right there to watch her… to her delight!
And as usual, last but not least, I leave you with two of my personal faves from a bunch of favorites from this session…
Can you possibly resist this darling face? (and just look at these insane eyelashes!!)
Many thanks little Miss Sunshine for being such a treat to photograph as well as a whole lot of FUN! I’m so sad I won’t be able to photograph your *very* special Birthday party this year, as I’ll be photographing a wedding, but me and my camera will see you again in October for our fall/Christmas portraits session!! Can’t wait to design your 2010 Holiday cards!!
When I was kid and people would ask me what I wanted to be when I grew up, I always replied: “a mother”.
By age 11, I have already picked all the 6 names for the 6 kids I would have. I would also adopt a few more so I had a few more names picked as well.
Today, I am a mother. Because of my twins, I became what I always wanted to be: a mother. And for that, I am forever grateful. I am grateful for my twins, who are my life, and for the better person I became because of them.
My babies, my muses, my loves.
THANK YOU for being in my life and for being the most amazing little persons.
I love you, I love you I. LOVE. YOU. I am so proud to be your momma.
And the reason why I always wanted (so badly you have no idea) to become a mother… my mother.
Mom, I love you to the moon and back. THANK YOU for being who you are and for loving me for who I am. Thank you for your unconditional love, for always being there for me, supporting me, encouraging me, believing in me.
And to all my wonderful clients, wonderful moms themselves, wishing you a very Happy Mother’s Day.
I put together a slideshow for you all… still trying to figure out how to center it on the blog, but oh well…
Just click on the arrow below, be sure to bump up your computer volume and… enjoy!

Much love,
PS1: Pardon the pixelated photo of my son above, I couldn’t find the original file on my gazillions EHDs, so I settled with a small file off from flickr. I just love this photo so much and it was taken on a day that brings me fond memories of a very special moment in my life.
PS2: photo of me & my twins courtesy of beloved hubby. Love you, hun!
