I don’t usually do weddings, but this couple convinced me to photograph their wedding when they mentioned these three words: simplicity, candid and Whistler. They mostly wanted to document the fact that their family & friends, coming from out of town and overseas would be all together to celebrate their love. How sweet is that? So my job was to capture those candid moments (my favorites!) and have fun along the way — and I can honestly say I am *very* pleased with the images we got!
The ceremony was beautiful, simple yet elegant and so much fun! And they couldn’t have picked a better day (such a gorgeous warm day) and a better location, the Brew Creek Lodge in Whistler. Just beautiful.

I just wanted to share a few images from last week – it was such a fun filled one!
I know I owe a few clients a full blog post with their beautiful images — and these are coming soon I promise, however June is also looking like it’s gonna be a very, very busy month! Good busy, may I add!
I am also working on my niece’s birth announcement cards (which, by the way, are turning out *beautifully* and can’t wait to share them here!)
I’ve been working with some amazing families which makes me feel so blessed for doing what I do… and I also had the honour to document a Convocation Ceremony at SFU.
It was a lovely week, wasn’t it?

so I’m neglecting my poor blog again… but to say that it has been busy at Belle Meinerz Photography for the past few weeks would actually be an understatement… and this is what I’ve been up to:
each and every image shows all the reasons why I love what I do. Capturing the love… the connection.. the beauty… life as it unfolds.
I had the honour to meet new beautiful mommas and their adorable babies, chase toddlers in tutus and little boys running around with their cars and open smiles, couples in love and birthday parties… so much fun! I’ll try and dedicate a full post for each session, so be sure to check back for more beautiful images!

I had the opportunity to photograph a few events in the last couple of months where the cake (and cupcakes!) were ordered from Berliosca Cake. And let me tell you, they impress me .every .single .time.
